Cooper Corporation expands into agriculture with new tractor plant and NDC series launch

The State-of-the-Art Tractor Plant and the launch of the Cooper Tractor NDC Series are a part of the company’s ongoing mission to innovate and provide superior, high-performance machinery to the agriculture sector.
Cooper Corporation, a leading manufacturer of engines, engine components, and generators, has expanded into the agricultural sector by inaugurating a new tractor manufacturing plant in Satara, Maharashtra. The facility also marks the launch of the Cooper Tractor NDC Series, designed to enhance farming efficiency with advanced features.
Inauguration ceremony attended by key dignitaries
The inauguration took place on 1st February 2025 and was attended by Ch. ShivendraRaje Bhosale, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Public Works, Government of Maharashtra, along with other notable figures, including Mahesh Shinde, Hon’ble Vice Chairman of Maha. Krushna Khore Vikas Mahamandal, and Clive Bagnall, Director of Global Product Development at Ricardo, UK.

Cooper Tractor NDC Series: Engineered for Indian farmers
The Cooper Tractor NDC Series is developed to meet the specific needs of Indian farmers. It features a fuel-efficient 4-valve engine, ergonomic design, and low maintenance costs. Collaborations with global engineering firms, such as Magna Steyr for design, Ricardo UK for engine development, Carraro for transmission, and Mita for hydraulics, have contributed to its superior performance.
